The Eau Claire Dog Park (otherwise known as the Off Leash Recreation Area) is a facility where people may responsibly exercise their dogs without leashes. This fenced, nine-acre facility is located at the intersection of Gateway Drive and House Road (convenient to both Route 53 an I-94). It is open year-round on a daily basis until dusk. Also, from May through October the park has water available for your dogs.
Usage Fees and Annual PassesSince the park is a city facility, a minimal fee is required to use the park: 2008 Pass Fees
Annual passes may be purchased by filling out the necessary form (PDF, 2 pages, 35 KB, from ci.eau-claire.wi.us) and mailing it in with the appropriate payment to: City of Eau Claire Customer Services OfficeP. O. Box 909 Eau Claire, WI 54702-0909 You can also pay at the Customer Service Office of Eau Claire City Hall. You will receive a tag to attach to your dog's collar to indicate payment, and this tag must be exhibited on your dog's collar when visiting the park. Daily passes may be purchased at the park (cash or check accepted); payment is made using an envelope depository located inside the vestibule/entry area. While in the park, you must keep the receipt on your person to show that you have paid your daily admittance.
